Welcome to RCAMILLERI
Who am I?
Hi, my name is Robert Camilleri
I am a systems engineer, in Malta, Europe. I started working in the IT industry in 2009 after graduating with a degree in Information Technology from the University of Malta. By the first week of work I came to realize that real life and what I have learnt at university are in fact a world apart. So it was back to hours of research and studying to troubleshoot and solve IT problems at work. Since then I have been gathering and compiling documentations and how-to-guides to aid me and my colleagues in the process. Now, I’m sharing them with you.
Who do I work for?
During my last year at university I started working as an intern at a Maltese based IT firm. After graduating I was offered a full time job as a systems engineer and so here I have been ever since.
What do I do?
Basically anything IT related; From basic Operating Systems (Microsoft Windows, Linux, AIX and ESXi) installations and troubleshooting to software installations, system and software upgrades, applying patches and fixes to scripting to implementing virtualization using VMware products to switching, routing, security solutions implementations, cabling and Cisco devices configurations.
Never heard of me?
